My colleague said he was inclined to give his spare change to a man shivering on a downtown street corner one day this week, but he’s all debit card these days.
This got me to thinking … I know a number of debit card-carrying young adults who rarely walk around with walking around money, and I don’t think they’re unusual in that regard.
It’s got to be taking a toll on the begging industry.
