MSU 'Haunted Auditorium' Fundraiser Gets Scary

MSUHauntedAud
‘Tis the season to get your haunt on, and the MSU Department of Theatre and its student organization the Society of Performers and Arts Management (SPAM) are getting in on the action with the 2nd annual Haunted Aud.

The MSU Auditorium includes plenty of scares on any given day: the uneasiness of a first audition in the Arena Thaetre, the horrors of a midterm exam in a theatre history, the terror of realizing you’ve torn your costume in costume design class. I have my master's degree from the MSU Department of Theatre, so I know it's a scary building!

Of course, during the Halloween season, things get even scarier.

Enter the Haunted Aud, and you’ll be greeted with spooky theatrics and more screaming than a Justin Bieber concert. Guests will venture through the remnants of not one, but two "haunted theaters," only hoping to return. You’ve been warned.

All proceeds will assist student organizations and initiatives, such as such as the annual Senior BFA showcase for agents in New York City.

-Deets: MSU Haunted Aud, benefit for student organizations and initiatives, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 through Saturday, Oct. 30; 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, MSU Auditorium on the campus of MSU; enter through the Auditorium side of the building facing Farm Lane, $10, available at the door.
