Each summer, Bonnaroo brings tens of thousands of alternative music fans to a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tenn. The line-up for this year's fest, which happens June 9-12, was just announced, and it counts Buffalo Springfield, Arcade Fire, Eminem, The Strokes, Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, The Decemberists, Florence and the Machine and more...

-Friday and Saturday: Michigan folk music is spirited and live, and (SCENE) Metrospace in East Lansing relishes in that this weekend with the fourth annual (SCENE) Metrospace Folk Festival. The fest brings together the best in Lansing music and Michigan folk, including Nervous But Excited, The Photographers, Steve Leaf and Ryan Anderson, and Jen Sygit and Sam Corbin. The Saturday night performers will include Doug Mains, Gifts or Creatures (above), Small Houses and Chris Bathgate.
Lollapalooza celetrates its 20th birthday this year (much like Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews, to boot), and they're doing it in style. While the full line-up drops in April, The Chicago Tribune‘s Greg Kot reports the fest has already booked headliners Eminem, Foo Fighters, and Muse.
Lollapalooza happens August 5-7 in Chicago's Grand Park. Of course, everyone is waiting with mega anticipation for the new Foo Fighters album, out April 12, and you can stream new Foo tracks on the band's online channel.
Of course, these are only "reports," and Lollapalooza has yet to make an official announce.
