Lansing music: Who do you hope headlines Common Ground Music Festival this year?

Common Ground has yet to announce most of its 2011 line-up, and that has people around Lansing asking the annual question: "Who do you want to see at this year's Common Ground Music Festival?"

We already know this year’s fest, which runs from July 11-17 in Lansing’s Adado Riverfront Park, will feature classic rocker Lynyrd Skynyrd and R&B artist Trey Songz. But who would you give just about anything to see, rocking out the stage in downtown Lansing?

Some fans hope for new, young talent.

"It would be awesome to have Kings of Leon here," Andrea Walker, 27, of Lansing said. "I was hoping they would come last year, but they didn't, so hopefully they will come this year."

Others are hoping for something more classic.

"I hear Styx and Yes are touring this summer, and that would be awesome to see," Paul Kruger, 38, of Holt said. "That would be a great tour to fit Common Ground's classic rock line-up."
