Rockin' Eve: Three Lansing New Year's Eve Hotspots with DJ Elemnt, DJ Donnie D and DJ Ruckus

The start of a new year always brings hope and anticipation. Whether your 2011 brought ups or downs, the start of 2012 will likely be cause for celebration! Hotspot: Harem’s New Year’s Eve Exclusive
Where: Harem Urban Lounge, 414 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, 267-7898
When: Doors 8 p.m.
Deets: Lansing’s popular DJ Elemnt brings his catchy beats and video DJing to Harem. Radio personality Brian Holmes from WSNX’s “Holmes and the Freak Show” will MC. Other bonuses include a champagne toast at midnight and live countdown video feed of the ball drop. VIP booths available.
Tickets: $15 in advance at the venue or by calling 507-2348; $20 at the door.

 

Hotspot: New Year’s Eve at the Firm
Where: The Firm, 227 S Washington Square, Lansing, 487-3663
When: Doors 8 p.m.
Deets: Lansing hotshot DJ Donnie D and DnW Sound DJs will rock the Firm, both spinning tracks and mixing videos. Champagne toast at midnight and party favors. Bottle service, VIP room, booths and tables can be booked in advance.
Tickets: $10 in advance at the venue; $15 at the door the night of the event.

 

 

Hotspot: Mac’s Bar’s Neon New Year’s Eve 2012
Where: Mac’s Bar, 700 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, 484-6795
When: Doors 9 p.m.
Deets: Mac’s New Year’s Eve celebration offers spinning sounds from DJ Ruckus, Nic Bouldin, Sizl, AK DJ and Andy Lynch. Goodies-wise, Mac’s promises gourmet cheeses of the world, a fruit platter, a mixed vegetable tray, desserts, a chocolate fountain and a champagne toast as midnight.
Tickets: $7, 18 and over. Available at the door.
