Michigan bands join up with L.A. rocker for Lansing show

Glam, punk, rock— however you choose to coin their sound, it’s hard to deny that L.A. quintet Prima Donna oozes energy and charisma. The group takes inspiration from everyone from the Ramones to David Bowie, and their sound is spiky, concise and mad fun.

Prima Donna hits Mac’s in Lansing Wednesday, March 28, on a bill packed with Michigan indie rock. Prima Donna, of course, hails from California, but the rest of the lineup features a handful of Michigan’s finest indie names: Narc Out the Reds (Lansing), the Hat Madder (Lansing) and the Dolphins (Lansing).
