Locals Only: Head to Independent Music Shops This Black Friday
It's almost
Thanksgiving, and that could only mean one thing: Black Friday shopping is on
the way. If you're like me, you want music, music and music for Christmas.
Every Black Friday, the fine folks behind National Record Store Day hook up exclusive music releases that are only available at your local, independently-owned record shop. Primus, the Rolling Stones, Band of Horses, Gaslight Anthem and Bob Dylan are just a few of the artists with vinyl releases set for this Friday. (Personally, I’m eyeing the 20th Anniversary Edition of Nirvana’s “Incesticide.”)
Local shops that participate in National Record Store Day initiatives include the Record Lounge, Flat, Black and Circular, Replay Entertainment Exchange and Schuler Books & Music in Eastwood and Okemos. Find more information below.
