Hinder Talk 'Welcome to the Freakshow' at the Machine Shop - Video Interview

 Hinder - Brantley Gutierrez

Rock gents Hinder made a stop at the Machine Shop in Flint, Mich., this past weekend in support of their current release, "Welcome to the Freak Show." I caught up with singer Austin Winkler and guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey before the show to talk about the new album, which marks the band's fourth studio release. Watch the video interview below.

“‘Welcome to the Freakshow’ just came out, and it’s very diverse,” Winkler said. “Every song is different, and that’s kind of why we named it that, and we’re excited to have fans check it out and tell us what they think.”

As for next year, expect to see Hinder on the road. A lot. “Next year, we’ve got fairs and festivals already coming in, but it’s still pretty early,” Garvey said. “We’re still not sure what’s going on yet, but hopefully we’ll be touring most of next year.”

“We will be touring and shoving this record down people’s throats as much as we can,” Winkler added.

For more on Hinder, head to the band’s official website.
