Weekend Riff: Bled Fest, Fried Egg Nebula, the Dollyrocker Ragdoll, Trade Me Shadows

Bled FestThursday: Get your weekend off to a hip start with a show at Mac's in Lansing on Thursday, featuring a bill of cool indie rock from the Dollyrocker Ragdoll, Mr Clit & the Pink Cigarettes, The Jackpine Snag and Mindguards. For more details, go here.

Friday: Lansing-based jam quartet Fried Egg Nebula (below, photo credit Erica Spencer) are playing their first-ever headlining show at the Loft in Lansing tonight, and the guys are psyched.

“We have supported acts including Dopapod and Zach Deputy at the Loft over the last year and have developed a great and loyal fan base in the Midwest,” vocalist and guitarist Jerry Hoffman said. “… We’re also bringing in Pleasant Drive, and they’re a great band out of Kalamazoo, so it will be an amazing night of music.”

Plan on it: Wednesday at Harpo's in Detroit, catch a Lansing-based metal band Trade Me Shadows on a bill of heavy metal sounds, including Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Immolation and more. Decibel is sponsoring the show.
