Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I know I did.
Even with all of the uncertainty in the world right now (jobs, the economy etc) going home for the Thanksgiving weekend was a wonderful retreat and a nice reminder that no matter what, you will always have people who love you.
Two of those people are my best girlfriends from high school Audrey and Carrie, here we are enjoying the biggest bar night of the year and probably breaking all rules I wrote about two years ago. Who cares, we had fun.
Along with shopping and way too much eating, the holiday weekend also consisted of a trip to a tree farm. Matt and I were able to pick out our very first Christmas tree ever, which was really fun. But due to our small living room we had to go with a precut version. Notice how tiny it is. As you can see we got it fixed up nice and festive with lights and ornaments, anyway. Putting the tree up really got me in the holiday spirit!
