A Ford Makes A Sudden Sharp Turn
Jeffery Ford just doesn’t know what to make of charitable-money-donating, grandma-dissing, typical-white-person-calling, hypocrite-beloved, democracy-opposing, Reverend-Wright’s-sermons-attending, former-token-Democratic-V.P.-candidate-arousing, no-Dr.-Martin-Luther-King-Jr.-being, racist-elitist-liberal-agenda-1-and-2-spouting, some-Coke-and-a-“Smile”-having, plagiarizing, yes-we-can-saying, DNC’s-illegitimate-love-child-becoming, America’s-new-day-of-hope-manifesting, rousing-speeches-like-Hitler-giving, novelty-candidate-being, Dr.-Martin-Luther-King-Jr.’s-good-name-out-pimping, about-you-not-caring Barack HUSSEIN Obama.
Reading over that trip-down-Jeffery-Ford lane does make one reflect that most of Obama’s rabid detractors have a hard time settling on which wacky attack to spit their bile into: he’s a plagiarist! He’s a Muslim! His wife’s not patriotic enough! His pastor’s racist! What do all of these attacks have in common? They are all highly suspect either for their veracity or relevance, or in most cases both. They have also all shown up here in the People’s Politics blog -- heck, most of them showed up in that first sentence.
It is funny that in the midst of this onslaught of anti-Obama rhetoric, the LSJ blog -- including the aforementioned Obama-hater-in-chief -- seems to have missed the Clinton-corkscrew-landing-under-fire-in-Bosnia story (a chronicle of outrageous exaggeration, and the first mini-scandal story of the ’08 campaign to have been broken by the comic Sinbad) and the foreign-policy-expert-John-McCain-thinks-Sunni-Arab-Al-Qaeda-is-being-trained-and-hosted-in-Shiite-Persian-Iran story (McCain is just befuddled, but Bush and Cheney are bopping themselves in the head right now thinking, “Why didn’t we say that four years ago?”). It is a shame that such juicy, pithy, relevant stories about the candidates themselves are going unexplored while we argue about Obama’s supposed friends and relations.
So give credit to Mr. Ford. Today, in veering suddenly to praise the man he has insulted and denounced, Ford actually focused on something about Obama himself -- that was a refreshing change.
I have to close now; the dash key on my laptop is wearing out.

Excellent points Mr. Woods, Mr. Fords bi-polar displays only hylight the confussion of his party and thier research conducted for them by Mr. Murdochs propagana machine.
I at times have had hope for a conversation aimed at relevent issues, but the fact is this blog has grown diversive and without engaging the general public, the active bloggers are intellegent and thoughtfull in thier post yet not mainstream, The real issues seldom are addressed, case point the recent lunacy of soylent green.
People do not care of fictional movie history, its the economy, the war in the middle east, jobs disappearing from our state, get to the issues and quit playing your intellect quota games.

Come On, Victor - Lighten up a little. There are many parallels to the real world and politics in Hollywood fiction. Some are even worth watching. They even did two thinly disguised Bill Clinton Presidential campaign movies. I was using Soylent Green to point out the relevance to the slippery slope of euthanasia, which is what Jack Kevorkian is all about. If he is running for Congress, that is very relevant.
I looked back on your posts and see a lack of a serious intelligent opinion on anything. I see you dissing conservatives, Republicans, and Fox news. That is just the type of divisiveness you are whining about.
Considering that most of the bloggers "hired" for this task are not doing their job, I think this blog has been very good at tackling some serious, relevant issues while still maintaining a modicum of humor.
Do some research, dive in with an informed opinion on one of those subjects you hold so dear. If "It's the economy, stupid", then run with it.
And for heaven's sake, watch a couple of movies and get a sense of humor. Cynical humor, or slapstick humor; it doesn't matter. Both make the world go round, and the blog read easier.
