On any given night, Lansing’s music scene follows its own eclectic sound — from metal rock at Mac’s Bar to folk at Magdalena’s Tea House. Maia Hausler explored the local scene recently and took a variety of photographs.

April showers have brought out the wildflowers at Scott Woods in Lansing, where the forest is carpeted in purple, white, pink and yellow blossoms. And you know what May flowers bring? Pilgrims, of course.
