You can pick your pumpkins, and you can pick your friends, but...

Geoff Brigham, 20, and Danielle Feguer, 19, of Lansing, braved
temperatures in the 30s to pick their own pumpkin in the Uncle John's
pumpkin patch Monday afternoon. Pumpkins are sold for 30 cents a pound.
Uncle John's Cider Mill also features fresh donuts and cider and wine tasting.

Katie Edwards, 21, of Haslett, picked out a pumpkin with her boyfriend Chris Dopa, 22. "It's hard to find the perfect pumpkin," Edwards said.
