Nice ice

Maggie Kelly, 9, of East Lansing, tests out a new pair of skates she got for Christmas at Suburban Ice in East Lansing. "They like to fall. When you're that close to the ground it doesn't hurt as much," said Mike Kelly, her dad.

Molly Kelly, 9, of East Lansing, left, and her twin sister Maggie test out new skates they just got for Christams at Suburban Ice Tuesday morning.

Alexander Pero, 8, of Laingsburg, has been skating since he was three years old and just received new skates for Christmas.
